The fountain is a great buy, the duo is only $10 more than the standard one sided fountain so I couldn't pass up the chance to get this one even without any reviews. The fountain is beautiful & easy to put together. I was worried it wouldn't work because the pump seemed flimsy but I've had it a couple days & it works just fine - as long as the solar panel is in FULL sun. The fountain cuts off as soon as a cloud passes or the sun moves out of range. I was disappointed that the solar panel doesn't hold a charge & continue to work when the sun is out of range. I may look into getting a different pump/solar panel in order to fix this issue because the fountain is lovely when it is flowing & I'd like to get maximum usage out of it. Despite the drawback of the solar panel not holding a charge, it is versatile on where you can place it. It came with a stake for the ground and a mounting bracket with screws included. Also, the cord is very long, which made finding the perfect spot for my fountain fairly easy. My solar panel has gone from staked in the ground, mounted to the deck railing with little effort. Tonight I may give the roof a try just to see if that will get more flow time out of the fountain before I resort to getting a new panel. This item came packaged perfectly, I'd read a few reviews about broken bowls but each bowl was bubble wrapped & cushioned with extra cardboard. I love that the cord from the pump to the top bowl is black rather than clear, it blends with the black frame better than clear, in my opinion. Water tends to lightly splash out of the bowl which is causing me to have to refill the bowl often because the pump may be to powerful but this is something I'll take care of if I get a new pump/solar panel. This fountain was such a good buy for that price I dont mind having to get another pump. It is a beautiful addition to my backyard.
